Kristin Makara
Kristin's training began with an Associate’s Degree obtained at the prestigious
culinary school, New England Culinary Institute in Essex Junction, Vermont. After
completing her degree, she worked in various restaurants across the country in a range of capacities, including Executive Chef;
through this experience she has worked with a variety of cuisines. Her
experience in hotels and smaller up-scale restaurants exposed her to widely diversified
range of situations and clients. Following her time in commercial kitchens, she
began a successful personal chef business, creating customized menus for patrons
and their families, including any dietary restrictions necessary. During this time
her business also provided luncheons to large corporations and their customers on
